We believe that the development of collaborative and respectful relationships with parents/Whānau, Educators and Happy Kids Visiting Teacher will nurture and support the holistic development and growth of the child.

We believe that children have a right to be guided in their growth to understand and maintain confidence in their own culture and to be sensitive to other cultures. Children learn to be proud of their own identity and to be valued as confident, competent learners.

We believe in listening to the children’s voice and responding to each child’s interests and strengths by providing appropriate learning opportunities, planning and creating a safe, stimulating, learning rich environment.
